In this glacier hike we hike on Falljökull, which is one of Vatnajökull´s outlet glaciers. Total tour duration is about 4-4 ½ hours. The meeting point is Skaftafell Terminal https://goo.gl/maps/EKEpP6gZDA2wM6zo6

The tour includes a 15 min drive to the roots of Falljökull glacier. The hike to the glacier's edge takes about 15.min. Before heading onto the ice we will gear up the crampons, harness and with ice axe we head on.

Falljökull glacier hike offers spectacular glacier view and unique opportunities to get up close to the actual icefall, rugged glacier crevasses and blue ice.
